My name is Patricia Pierce-Phillips. I was born and raised in beautiful Colorado. I live here with my lunatic husband and 2 very significant kitties who run the house but allow us to live here as long as we cater to their every whim! These partners in crime are named Figaro and Jetson. They run with the "Pussy-Foot" gang and are notorious pillow snatchers and heart stealers! Jetson is the "muscle" of the gang weighing in at 20+ pounds while Figaro is the brains of the operation, although they are both very sneaky! My husband George is my rock and my strength. He's a Harley riding, lame joke telling, walking American history encyclopedia with a heart the size of Mount Everest! All this and this big ogre is soft and cuddly too!

Now about my art: I'm a self-taught artist; my chosen medium is usually acrylic paints. I've won numerous awards for my paintings as well as for my fairy and fantasy doll sculptures. I'm also a member of ASFA (Association of Science-Fiction/Fantasy Artists). My art can be seen in many publications as well as on-line illustrating a sci-fi, super-hero, children's story titled "Libroman," written and created by Bonnie Pantely and her kids. When you view my galleries you see no black and whites and very few pastel colors. I love color and with the thousands of colors in the universe, why deny your eyes the pleasure of seeing every hue and shade there is? Life would be soooo boring in black and white! That's why you'll never see a white wall in my house! I splash color on everything! Car bumpers, trash cans, a pair of jeans and even on chopsticks! Heck if the zoo would allow me; I'd even paint a tiger's toenails or zest up a zebra with some psychedelic stripes so he would stand out in the herd! My motto is live lush, love passionately, laugh intensely, dance uninhibited and enjoy your bliss every second of every day because you never know when it can be taken away!

I also love music and listen while painting. Just a few of the groups I like are Godsmack, Nickleback, ACDC, Beastie Boys and Metallica! There are also lots of artists I admire and adore like Michael Parkes, Schim Schimmel and way too many fantasy artists to list! Some of my hobbies include playing Texas Holdem, Blackjack and 3-card poker, 4-wheeling in the mountains, flying kites and going to football and hockey games; go Broncos, go Avalanche! I also collect fairies, white tigers and Maneki Nekos. Manekis are lucky cats who usually have one paw raised while the other paw holds a coin or item. I also love to get and give tattoos! Well I guess I've babbled enough! I hope you enjoy my art half as much as I've enjoyed creating it!
